Parent Support Survey

Hello OUESD parents, guardians, and caretakers!

As a District, we would like to offer a variety of parent training and webinars to provide additional support to you and your family this year. Please take the time to complete this survey indicating what you, your student, and your family may need at this challenging time.

Your responses will help guide the types of training, materials sent home, and direct student and family support we provide moving forward. If you have additional needs that are not addressed in this survey, please reach out to your school administrator for support.

We know this time is extremely hectic, but we appreciate your feedback and any input you may have as to how we can best support you.

Thank you,

Additional food benefits for families

Because schools are closed due to COVID-19, families who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get extra food benefits to help feed their children. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT and are in addition to any free meals that you may be receiving through our meal distribution on Mondays and Thursdays.

Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on a P-EBT card. You can use your P-EBT card like a debit card to buy food and groceries for your children.

Most families who receive CalFresh, CalWORKS, Medi-Cal or other social services benefits will get a P-EBT card in the mail before May 22. Please keep an eye out for this card in the mail over the next few weeks.

Other families will need to complete a simple and quick online application before June 30, 2020. More information can be found at
